The Positive Leadership Institute (PLI) is an advanced, transformative leadership journey designed for professionals in leadership roles—from managers to C-suite executives—across every sector and industry. Launched through our long-standing connection with the University of Tulsa, PLI was originally created to address the unique challenges faced by technical professionals who had moved into management without formal leadership training. While many leaders have had extensive training in their job functions, they often lack systematic, cohesive leadership development. Instead of piecing together disconnected courses and concepts, PLI provides a comprehensive framework that builds the leadership capacities needed to engage teams, align resources, and ensure their organizations thrive.

Purpose

When skilled professionals become managers, the transition to leadership requires an entirely new skill set. They now find themselves in the position of leading others, but they’ve never specifically been trained for it. They are now managing people rather than tasks, faced with challenges like motivating their teams, resolving conflicts, and providing meaningful feedback.
